Seatango bakery specializes in Argentinian delicacies and offers chocolate, quince, and caramel filled pastries called “facturas,” and traditional meat and chicken empanadas as well as vegetarian spinach-filled empanadas. Monica Di Bartolomeo, the owner and chef, was born in Argentina and moved to the United States in 1995.

She grew up cooking with her father, an Italian-immigrant and chef, who awakened her love for cooking. Some of her earliest memories include baking facturas for her parents before they got home from work. Today, she is a mother of two, a wife, and a passionate business owner who loves to share her Argentinian culture and delicacies with our Seattle community. You can experience a taste of Argentina by visiting Monica at the Snohomish, Mill Creek and Park Ridge markets during the summer, or book her for your next catering event!
