Pam oversees the Ventures Marketplace retail incubation program at the historic Pike Place Market. Here she manages the store and coaches Ventures entrepreneurs on pricing, display, packaging and production of their product lines.
Pam comes to Ventures with a wide range of experience working in retail and wholesale for startups and Fortune 500 companies and in field and corporate headquarter positions.
A lifelong learner, Pam took a break from the corporate sector to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington Bothell. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 graduating with honors. It was there she explored her interest in education, educational policy and incorporating social justice in her studies.
Pam knows firsthand the tireless work and the many sacrifices needed to start and grow a business when she opened her own retail beauty and wellness store in 2019. She believes all entrepreneurs and business owners should have an equal opportunity to succeed, especially those who face significant challenges opening or sustaining their enterprises. She shares the entrepreneurial spirit of Ventures clients and is honored to assist the programs team working with the entrepreneurs to help their businesses prosper.
