Karen Johanson is an artist and photographer based in the Pacific Northwest, creating cyanotypes and other fine art, including glass art. For Karen, photography is her passion and profession. After years of working in advertising and editorial photography, she recently returned to her fine art roots. For her work, Karen seeks out surfaces, like specific types of watercolor, paper, or glass, that are a visual fit for the imagery that she is showcasing.
