George Lee is a sculptor, public space strategist and experimental architect whose practice provokes and implements solutions to environmental and social crises. As an artist committed to public participation, Lee has a strong history of engaging with multicultural and disadvantaged communities and is particularly interested in maximizing interactivity and site integration of sculpture. Lee has earned public art awards from the City of Seattle, Museum of Northwest Art, King County and Vassar College, and practiced landscape architecture with Turenscape (Beijing) and SvR | MIG (Seattle) prior to starting his independent studio in 2015.
