I (Sarah Barnard) was born and raised in Seattle and I have been combining creativity and business since 3rd grade when I started selling handmade jewelry at recess. I started Chart à la Carte in 2015, with the goal of offering fun and practical tools for communication around activities and household tasks. I designed my unique and multi-functional board (for use with push pins, magnets, customizable fabric, inter-changeable chalkboard and whiteboard, storage, etc.), plus free printable charts and magnetic accessories were tremendously popular on Kickstarter in 2016 and now, thanks to help from my production partner, and from Ventures staff who answered DOZENS of questions, my inventions are available to purchase on my website.
