Amaranta Sandys was born and raised in Mexico City. After years of going back and forth between Mexico and the Pacific Northwest, she eventually settled in Washington. Art Maranth provides art workshops in the community, working with different mediums (clay, printmaking, acrylics, etc), to teach a specific craft and country of origin. Amaranta is passionate about art, and conveys that passion to her students. She has worked with libraries and schools to offer her workshops all throughout King County. Because her workshops are mobile, Amaranta is able to offer them in homes, places of businesses or wherever an event may occur.
