Join us for an inspiring fundraising event celebrating the Ventures community, the incredible spirit of small businesses, and the unlimited power of entrepreneurship.
During this new event, you will have the opportunity to support Ventures’ mission and connect with small business owners and passionate supporters.
Special guests
We’re thrilled to have as our special guests Peter Rose, the visionary founder of Ventures (when it was known as Washington CASH); Chef Kristi Brown, longtime Ventures entrepreneur and owner of That Brown Girl Cooks and Communion; and Cinthia Fernandez, Ventures entrepreneur and owner of C&I Cleaning Services. You will also hear from Ventures’ new Executive Director, Monique Valenzuela.
Food and Drinks
The event will be catered by That Brown Girls Cooks!, owned by long–time Ventures entrepreneur and James Beard 2022 Awards Semifinalist Chef Kristi Brown. They will be serving heavy appetizers accommodating vegetarians and meat lovers.
And that’s not all—our open bar will feature a selection of Reuben’s Brews beers, local wines, and refreshing non–alcoholic beverages.
Tickets
This is an in–person–only event and space is limited. We recommend getting your ticket at your earliest convenience. We have intentionally kept the ticket prices low (just $25) to make the event more inclusive.

Directions and Parking
Reuben’s Brews Barrel House is located in the Ballard neighborhood at 1133 NW 51st St, Seattle, WA 98107. Please note that the event is not at the Reuben’s Brews Taproom located on 14th Ave NW. The Barrel House is on the same block but located on NW 51st Street.
If you are driving to the event, you can street–park around the Barrel House. Street parking is free but limited, so make sure to arrive early to allow time to find parking.
If you’re taking public transport, the area is serviced by buses 28, 40, and 44. Use Sound Transit trip planner to plan your public transportation trip.
