The Information Session is the first step in learning how Ventures can support your business idea or existing business through our unique and comprehensive model of business development services. During this session, we'll provide an overview of our program, review eligibility requirements, and explain the application process for our upcoming Business Basics Course—a nine-week program designed to help you successfully launch or grow your business.

Fall 2026 Business Basics Course – Applications Are Now Open!

Applications are now open for Ventures 9-week Business Basics Course, our cornerstone training program for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs. The course will be held in-person on Wednesdays from 6:00-9:00 pm, starting September 16.

  • Course Dates: Wednesdays, September 16 – November 4
    • Graduation Pitch Night: Monday, November 9
  • Time: 6:00–9:00 PM
  • Format: In-person in South Seattle - 2100 24th Ave S, Seattle 98144
  • Application Deadline: Monday, August 24 at 12:00 PM (noon)
Participation in the Business Basics Course is based on eligibility requirements and a selection process. Please review the Information Session packet before applying for complete details.
