The Information Session is the first step in learning how Ventures can support your business idea or existing business through our unique and comprehensive model of business development services. During this session, we'll provide an overview of our program, review eligibility requirements, and explain the application process for our upcoming Business Basics Course—a nine-week program designed to help you successfully launch or grow your business.

Registration is now open! We invite you to join us in person to learn more about the program, ask questions, and take the first step toward starting or growing your business.

Participation Requirements

  • Live in Washington State (note: Ventures does not ask about immigration status)
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have an independent, for-profit business idea or existing business
    • Multi-level marketing (i.e. Avon, Mary Kay, etc.) or non-profit business models are not eligible
  • Have a clear and focused business idea, or existing business
  • Have experience relevant to your business industry
  • Have an open mindset to different ideas and perspectives
  • Have the ability to attend a minimum of 7 of the 8 classes and graduation
  • Meet Ventures’ income eligibility requirements for your household size
