Ventures Vendors Grow their Businesses at the Seattle Gift Show

With a frigid wind blowing from the loading docks, Ventures artists go to work setting up their booths for retail buyers coming to fill empty shelves after a successful holiday season. The enthusiastic entrepreneurs have joined the first wholesale trade show in 2017, the Seattle Gift Show. They are enthusiastic because the first gift show Ventures participated in August 2016 had buyers writing orders from across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Hawaii and …Maryland!

The variety of products offered will appeal to a multitude of buyers. There is gourmet candy, barbecue marinades, tea towels and aprons for stores with customers who like to cook or know someone who does. If you are at the show, you have to come and try the best sauces and brittles you have ever tasted while chuckling over the comical quotes on the towels and aprons. There is at least one we can all relate to.

These inspired creations only come from true craftspeople. They will be presenting their lines to retail store buyers in booths 3104-3108 January 6th-9th at the Convention Center in Seattle. It is a terrific opportunity for buyers to add these fresh and up-and-coming Northwest artists to their store shelves. The lines and the owners are listed below.

For the store with customers looking for another kind of humorous and useful gift, or a workhorse for themselves, we have heavy-duty totes bags with light-hearted messages.

If your store has fashion conscious customers, we have two stylish jewelry lines, yet both so uniquely created. Come see this fine detail. One line is inspired by nature and uses sterling silver and earth made crystals and pearls in geometric designs. The other line has a variety of looks of hand-hammered metals in sterling silver, gold fill, found objects and resin to create fashion-forward rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.

We offer more elegance in a locally designed apparel and accessory line. Only the heart of an artist would photograph meaningful nature shots and turn them into abstract mandalas. She’s not finished. She takes the original art and creates versatile apparel and accessories from them.

Health conscious customers will want to try the natural tinctures and balms made in small artisan batches from locally raised plants. These are remedies for what life throws your way.

The Seattle Gift Show is only open to the wholesale trade.
