As the Data, Evaluation & Impact Specialist, Nicole is responsible for supporting client data collection, data communication, analysis, and reporting of the Ventures program. This means turning many individual Ventures stories into digestible, data-driven reports that help emphasize the impact we make in the community!
There is nothing Nicole loves more than watching someone come alive doing what they are meant to do – and by working at Ventures, she can play a small part in helping make many people’s dreams of entrepreneurship a reality. She has a history of supporting efforts to reduce health disparities and aligns with the Ventures mission to support
those with less access to resources.
Brazilian-born but Woodinville-raised, Nicole is a microbiologist by training and a storyteller at heart. She hopes to use her analytical eye, statistical skills, and inquisitive mind to tell the story of Ventures entrepreneurs both qualitatively and quantitatively. Her work history is wide-ranging, including a Masters in microbiology and immunology, public health field research in Peru, research administration at the University of Washington, restaurant work, tutoring, and everything in between. In her spare time, she can be found hiking or running in the mountains
surrounding her home in Snoqualmie with her two dogs.
Nicole’s dream business would cater to the best (and most easily pleased) clients imaginable: canines. She would love to operate an over-the-top dog bakery complete with personalized doggy cakes, puppy ice cream, and maybe even some human treats and coffee too!
