Joined Ventures in November 2022
Kathryn’s role is to provide the Ventures administration with operations support. This includes general office tasks, IT coordination, and internal staff coordination to promote high function and efficient internal processes.
Kathryn joined Ventures because she too has a deep love for her community and wants to contribute to the success of all individuals to help fulfill their dreams and share their passions with the world. She strives to support the removal of barriers and sharing of resources, for individuals to succeed in life. She sees working for Ventures as an opportunity to continue her growth professionally and contribute to a high-functioning, well-respected non-profit, with a solid mission.
Kathryn is from Seattle, Washington. She majored in geology with a minor in Art Metals at Boise State University. Her work and personal history have led her to realize that she enjoys the science of life and has a need for social impact. Throughout her professional life, she has held many different roles, from the service industry to retail, to program management, at various levels. She is skilled and interested in analyzing how things function, determining what works, and identifying where improvements can be made. The overarching themes of her work are organization, implementation, strategy, beauty, and having fun doing it!
Dream Business to start:
Kathryn has many dream businesses; jack-of-all-trades master of none resonates with her. She is interested in running a consulting firm that supports the success of others through administrative support and strategic implementation based on her client’s needs. A current slogan that runs through her head is, ‘My business is your business’.
