Lilian Quintanilla, owner of Lily’s Salvadorian Catering, creates authentic, delicious Salvadoran meals.

Lilian heard about Ventures’ Latino Program from a friend. Since graduating from our Business Basics Course in 2008, Lily has gone on to build her business with the help of multiple services at Ventures, including one-on-one coaching, and courses that have helped her solidify her business plan around financials, sales, marketing, and operations. Lilian also participated in the ESL courses through Ventures’ partnership with Renton Technical College.

Ventures’ financial services was a big piece of Lilian’s business success. She received her first microloan of $1,000 in 2012, her second loan of $2,000 in 2013, and $3,500 in 2014.

In 2013, Lilian received her Green Card and purchased a truck for her business, which has helped her expand the business to reach more of the Greater Seattle area. She sells at a variety of Farmer’s Markets including Columbia City, Fremont, University District, and Redmond as well as catering special events during the week. She has three employees on staff and recently got married in August of 2014.
