Annual Giving Manager
Erica joined the Ventures team in 2018.
Erica connects the community and their passion, talents, and financial resources to support our entrepreneurs’ dreams to start their own small businesses. She also ensures Ventures’ donors are acknowledged and updated on their gifts’ impact.
Erica strongly believes that access to information unlocks human potential and has the power to reduce poverty and increase opportunity. She loves how Ventures is reducing barriers to starting a small business by empowering people with a comprehensive knowledge base and hands-on support.
Erica is passionate about social justice and helping nonprofit organizations thrive. She is originally from the Seattle area but lived in San Francisco for nearly 10 years. While there, she earned her BA and MA in International Studies from USF and launched her social impact career. She’s worked at a variety of local and global nonprofit organizations, supporting fundraising efforts for interfaith cooperation, human services, access to information, and environmental protection.
Erica was excited to return home to the Seattle area in 2017 and is active in the vibrant nonprofit community here. She holds a certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Washington and contributes her fundraising expertise as a member of 501 Commons Executive Volunteer Corps. In addition, she serves on the board of the Issaquah-based nonprofit, Life Enrichment Options (LEO), helping to support adults with developmental disabilities achieve their life goals and inclusion in the local community.
If Erica started a business, it would one that organizes outdoor adventures for women in the Northwest, connecting women to each other and with nature.
